A doctor examines you in your room and can give you medicine on the spot.

Staying in Ikebukuro

Ikebukuro is one of Tokyo’s busiest stations, with many hotels around the station and Sunshine City. Late at night most clinics in the area are closed, and hospital emergency departments are meant for serious cases. If you feel unwell but it is not an emergency, a doctor can come to your room instead of you travelling across the city at night.

Where we visit in Ikebukuro

We visit guests staying in Ikebukuro, Sunshine City, Mejiro, Otsuka, Sugamo, and everywhere else in Tokyo’s 23 wards and the Tama area, plus parts of Saitama Prefecture.

Please give us the hotel name, the full address and your room number when you make the request. The doctor comes to your room, so you do not need to travel while you are unwell.

When to call 119 instead

If the person is unconscious, has difficulty breathing, is having a seizure, has severe chest pain or is bleeding heavily, call 119 for an ambulance. 119 is free and answered 24 hours a day. A house call is for illness that is not an emergency of that kind but is too difficult to leave until morning.
