Please make your request in English through our online request form (our phone line is Japanese only).
A doctor examines you in your room and can give you medicine on the spot.

How it works

1. Before the visit
If your policy has an assistance desk, you can contact them first. Tell us when you make the request if your insurer needs the documents in a particular format.
2. At the visit
The doctor examines you, tests if needed and gives you medicine. You pay 80,000 yen (tax included) by cash or credit card.
3. Documents
You receive a medical certificate (with the diagnosis and treatment) and a receipt, at no extra charge.
4. Your claim
Send the documents to your insurer. Whether a claim is paid, and how much, is decided by your insurer under your policy.

Please have these ready

  • Your passport
  • Your travel insurance policy number and the insurer's name
  • The hotel name, full address and your room number
  • When the symptoms started, any regular medicine and allergies

When to call 119 instead

If the person is unconscious, has difficulty breathing, is having a seizure, has severe chest pain or is bleeding heavily, call 119 for an ambulance. 119 is free and answered 24 hours a day. A house call is for illness that is not an emergency of that kind but is too difficult to leave until morning.
